Thank you for your interest in Lehmans Mill. As you come over the one lane bridge you will be taken back in time to a bygone era once known as the "Village of Reid, MD". The mill, originally built in 1760, was purchased by Ronnie and Cindy Brezler in November of 1996 and is listed on the National Historical Registry. It had ceased operation several months before that being fully operational until that time.

With the help of family and friends, the Brezlers went forward with the two year renovation on the property. Lehmans Mill opened as a unique country store on September 3, 1998. The shop features candles, folk art, interior and exterior lighting, wooden and upholstered furniture, just to name a few things. The shop specializes in primitive accessories, redware and stoneware pottery and their own line of custom window treatments.

Cindy brought an enormous amount of experience into the retail shop. She was in the wholesale end of the business manufacturing a line of country items since 1981. This type of business was nothing new for her.

Special events held at the mill have become very popular. Every September the mill has its "Pumpkin Festival" which features antique dealers, pumpkins, fall flowers and usually a special visit from a well known country artist. (See Events listing for details.)

We invite you to visit Lehmans Mill where you"ll be greeted by a warm friendly staff and the "official greeter", Emmy, our Shi-tsu.

Come out for a day in the country and discover the treasure they have created for your enjoyment.
